Three-star Neville cornerback Lorenzell Dubose committed to Louisiana Tech football on Thursday.
He is the No. 40 cornerback in the nation and No. 20 recruit in Louisiana’s 2022 class, according to 247Sports Composite.
In May he announced that Oklahoma, Mississippi State, Purdue, Oregon State, Jackson State and Louisiana Tech were his top six schools. He also has offers from Ole Miss, Memphis and Arkansas.
Dubose (6-foot, 170 pounds) had told the News Star that Louisiana Tech was one of his top options given how close the school is to Monroe. Neville offensive coordinator Taylor Burch and defensive line coach Courtney Wallace both played for the school.
Dubose is teammates with LSU commit and five-star prospect Will Campbell, the No. 2 recruit in Louisiana’s 2022 class according to the 247Sports Composite.
