Pleas entered at preliminary hearings | News, Sports, Jobs


Four guilty pleas were entered while charges were withdrawn against two during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Robert E. Crouse, 49, Bear Lake, to furnishing drug-free urine.

¯ Kenneth C. Hannah, 45, Warren, to possession of marijuana. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

¯ Lee R. Hile, 41, Cassadaga, NY, to statement under penalty. A count of materially false written statement was withdrawn.

¯ Rodney T. Thomas, 32, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:

¯ Justin A. Anderson, 31, Warren. Anderson had been charged with aggravated harassment by prisoner. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Courtney Sliter, 33, Washington Pa. Sliter had been charged with possession with intent to deliver, nine counts of criminal use of a communications facility and possession of a controlled substance.
