Texas Tech Club to see multi-million dollar renovation ahead of 2022 football season

Texas Tech has renewed its agreement with a Dallas-based hospitality company to operate and expand the Texas Tech Club at Jones AT&T Stadium ahead of planned major renovations to part of the venue.

According to a Monday news release, the university extended its existing long-term agreement with ClubCorp to operate the members-only club, which will see “a multimillion-dollar renovation of The Texas Tech Club and East Side of the stadium, slated to be done before the start of 2022 Red Raiders football season.”

The Texas ech Club will also improve its member offerings to include things like fresh seafood and an expanded drink menu, the release states.

“We are fortunate to extend our relationship with such a trusted partner like ClubCorp,” Kirby Hocutt, Director of Athletics for Texas Tech, said in the release. “This agreement will allow us to continue to invest in The Texas Tech Club and our premium areas inside Jones AT&T Stadium, giving our donors and fans a first-class experience each time they walk through the gate.”

The Texas Tech Club offers upscale dining, wine and cocktails, and social activities throughout the year and is located in the east side of the Jones. Membership is open to everyone. The club was founded in 2010.

Based in Dallas, ClubCorp operates private golf courses, country clubs and stadium clubs throughout North America.
