Chromebooks are a popular laptop option for a lot of people — and for good reason. They tend to be lightweight, have good portability and a speedy set up process. Acer’s Chromebook Spin 311 does all of that and more. The 11.6-inch screen offers a touchscreen display, can download Android apps to watch movies or play games, connects to your Google account so you can access everything you need easily and comes with built-in virus protection.
Over 5,700 Amazon reviewers have left a five star review for the Acer Chromebook Spin 311 with many mentioning the long battery life, how easy it is to set up and how useful the convertible screen is. The included Wacom drawing tablet is great for artists, note takers and students who enjoy using a digital pen instead of a keyboard, and has over 2,500 five star reviews on its own. A bundled package featuring both the laptop and the tablet is available on Amazon right now for over 25% off.

Others were thrilled by the ease of setting up the laptop, with one reviewer saying it was the “easiest setup of any computer I’ve bought.” A reviewer who says they’re not very tech savvy wrote “I usually have my husband or one of my kids set everything up for me. Not this time. I did it myself! Honestly, I can’t even really boast about it because it was so easy it doesn’t really qualify as any kind of accomplishment!” A third mentions “We got this for distance learning for our son and were super impressed with this Chromebook. First of all, set up is super easy out of the box. We were able to login to Google Classroom and get him all set up with a very minimal effort.”
The 360 degree hinge on the Spin 311 allows the user to operate the laptop in a variety of angles from notebook to tablet to tent mode. This was a very popular feature amongst reviewers; one said “This is my first Chromebook. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I love it…The convertible feature along with a keyboard is perfect for a lightweight device.” Another user commented: “I am primarily working from home but when I have meetings, it is so nice to have everything right at my fingertips in this one computer. The convertible function is well designed and the touchscreen is responsive. I love everything about it and it has become my primary mobile workstation!”
