Acer has launched Acer Swift X as its new laptop in India with a sleek form factor. The latest member of its Swift series of laptops, the Swift X promises to be a high-performance laptop with an ultra-portable design for users on the go. To back its claims, the Acer Swift X comes with AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series graphics.
Other highlights on the new Acer laptop include an FHD display, a number of ports for connectivity and a fingerprint sensor for secure and instant login. Here is a look at what all the new Acer Swift X has to offer.
Acer Swift X price and availability
Acer Swift X has been launched at a starting price of Rs 84,999. It is already available on the Acer online store though the listing does not mention any variants of the laptop as such.
Going forward, the new Acer laptop will be available on Flipkart, Acer Exclusive stores, Vijay Sales and other authorized retail stores.
Acer Swift X specifications
Acer Swift X sports a 14-inch FHD IPS display that features an 85.73 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness, and 100 per cent sRGB. The laptop features a slim form factor comprising sliced metal body that weighs 1.39 kg and measures just 17.9 mm in thickness.
It is powered by up to 4.4 GHz octa-core AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processor and features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. It comes with memory up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, and storage up to 1TB SSD. The Acer laptop also features a fan of 59 blades, 0.3mm, and dual D6 copper heat pipes for cooling. Acer also says that the Air inlet keyboard design on the laptop expels 8- 10 per cent more heat compared to the keyboard without an air inlet.
For connectivity, the laptop features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and an array of ports including USB Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0 and HDMI. It features an HD webcam with 1280 x 720 resolution and a fingerprint sensor. The device is backed by a 59Wh battery that Acer claims will run up to 15 hours of use on a single charge. The battery features fast charging as well.
