Bridge of Spirits PS5 Features Revealed and Yes, It Includes a Photo Mode

Kena: Bridge of Spirits developer Ember Lab has announced that the game will include a photo mode along with PS5 specific features ahead of its digital release tomorrow. A new trailer for the game, which releases tomorrow, revealed what players can expect when playing it across PC, PS4 and PS5.

Kena will include full support for ‘Game Help’ and activity cards when played on the PS5, and will offer two modes for tweaking the game’s graphics and performance. The game’s ‘Fidelity Mode’ will render at native 4K resolution targeting 30fps for a “cinematic experience”, while ‘Performance Mode’, which is the default setting when booting up the game, will run at 60fps with a dynamic 4K resolution. While the PS5’s DualSense controller includes support for features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, Ember Labs did not disclose whether Kena will support the same.

Photo mode, which is available on all versions of the game, will let players pause the action to take pictures of Kena and the Rot, with similar functions as found in Ghost of Tsushima’s photo mode.

“We’re very excited to share the “Cheese!” function in Photo Mode,” said Hunter Schmidt, Ember Lab’s Animation Director. “When players have set up their perfect photo angle, they’ll have the option to have the characters in the photo say “CHEESE!” and strike a pose. Many characters have multiple poses, so you can snap a great variety of fun shots in the same location. I’m very excited to see what kinds of photos players will capture!”

Kena: Bridge of Spirits Digital Deluxe Edition Content

While the standard edition of Kena includes both PS4 and PS5 versions of the game along with unique “Rot Hats” as a pre-order bonus, the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will include the following:

• Kena Digital Deluxe Staff
• Golden Rot Skin
• Pre-Order Rot Hats

Kena: Bridge of Spirits Standard Edition costs Rs. 3,330 on PlayStation and Rs. 939 on PC, with the Digital Deluxe Edition priced at Rs. 4,162 on PlayStation and Rs. 1,179 on PC.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits releases on September 21 for PS4, PS5 and PC (Epic Games Store).
