EFootball 2022 PC System Requirements Revealed

Konami has revealed the PC system requirements for eFootball 2022, previously known as PES 2022, as the game moves to Unreal Engine. The system requirements were spotted on the game’s listing on Steam, along with some new screenshots.

eFootball 2022 PC System Requirements

The minimum system requirements to play eFootball include:

  • OS – Windows 10
  • CPU – Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD FX-4350
  • GPU – Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti or AMD Radeon HD 7790
  • RAM – 8 GB
  • Storage – 50 GB

As for the recommended requirements, Konami suggests players use either an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 590, or above for better experience. It’s not surprising to see eFootball recommending modest hardware to get a decent experience with, given that it is a free-to-play game.

The move to Unreal Engine for this year’s title makes scaling the game for different devices easier along with extending the accessibility of the game. Of course, last year’s PES 2021 also had similar system requirements, although it wasn’t being ported to mobile like eFootball 2022 is.

With eFootball’s releasing coming up soon, Konami also revealed that it won’t have any microtransactions, even though the game won’t have all of its features included at launch. These include support for haptic feedback on the PS5’s DualSense controller and other in-game abilities.

This year’s instalment is more than just a name change, with Konami making a huge number of changes to both how the game plays and what content it will get after launch. To know more about what other changes are coming to the game, check out IGN India’s comprehensive guide on eFootball 2022.

eFootball will release as a free-to-play title on September 30, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S as well as Android smartphones through the Google Play Store. There has been no confirmation of a Nintendo Switch version of the game.
