Fallout 76 Reveals The Return of Zorbos and Season 7 Roadmap

Zorbo’s Revenge launches on December 8 for the seventh season of Fallout 76’s post-launch content, and will offer a variety of new perks.

Bethesda Game Studios has revealed the next season of Fallout 76Zorbo’s Revenge, which launches on December 8th and introduces a variety of new content for players. Zorbo’s Revenge is the seventh season of Fallout 76‘s post-launch content and similar to previous seasons will include new rank rewards, daily and weekly challenges, allies, weekend activities, and seasonal events. Fallout 76‘s sixth season, The Unstoppables vs The Diabolicals, is set to wrap up in just a few short days, and the season of Zorbo’s Revenge will officially take over Appalachia.

The online action role-playing game saw a disastrous launch in 2018, which sparked numerous controversies among its player base. In a sizable effort to resuscitate the title, however, Bethesda introduced many minor patches to Fallout 76 followed by bigger updates including the announcement of free seasonal post-launch content to draw players and grow its community. Kicking things off with The Legendary Run update, Fallout 76‘s first season allowed fans to play as Fallout‘s space hero Captain Cosmos as he raced against the evil Zorbos, styled as a galaxy board game with numerous objectives. Along with its seasons, each update has also featured new quests, monsters, characters, legendary items, and mechanics such as the Public Team system and the ability to max out Fallout 76‘s rank 100 cap.

The main attraction of the beginning of Fallout 76‘s seventh season is the return of the evil Dr. Zorbos. In this new adventure, players will be helping Dr. Zorbo’s in becoming the Emperor of the Universe after losing to Captain Cosmos in the first season (via Bethesda). This includes recruiting a team of “intergalactic” villains and building a war machine to defeat his arch-nemesis. Like every season that came before, this will be achieved by leveling up on Fallout 76‘s battle pass – better known as Zorbo’s Revenge Scoreboard. Each level on the scoreboard will unlock content such as skins, C.A.M.P. items, Atoms, Perk Card Packs, and much more. Some of the new content teased includes a Dr. Zorbo outfit, an Alien Shooting Gallery, and a Vault Boy West Virginia Slot Machine, with many more to be unlocked as players progress.

Additionally, the new update will introduce two new Fallout 76 companions that can be unlocked and found at respective settlements. Xerxo is a ghoul in a spacesuit who claims to be from another planet, and Katherine is a conspiracy theorist and astronomer. Both companions have their own unique voice lines and offer different buffs that can be replenished every 24 hours. The last new feature to be added with the new season is the two new radio play. Players exploring Appalachia will be able to listen to Dr. Zorbo as he travels from one planet to the next on his quest to assemble a villainous crew that can take down Captain Cosmos.

While the new season has been officially revealed ahead of its release, Fallout 76 Season 7’s community calendar appears to have even more lined up and will carry players into March 2022. Fasnacht Day will return in January, a Valentine’s Day event in February, and a secret seasonal event in March is set to be revealed. Curious players can expect to hear more after Season 7’s initial release on December 8, when Dr. Zorbos begins his plans to take over the universe – beginning with West Virginia.
