In a new NSFW meme, players have made fun of GTA Online‘s Sparrow helicopter, pointing out its terrible durability despite being one of the oldest flyable vehicles in the Grand Theft Auto series. Despite releasing in 2013, Rockstar continues to regularly update GTA Online each week with a handful of new additions including clothing items, missions, and vehicles. The massively multiplayer open-world sandbox now holds more than 600 vehicles players can purchase and a significant amount more are expected to be on the way, as GTA 5‘s current-gen Expanded & Enhanced remaster releases next month in March with exclusive vehicle upgrades and paint jobs.

Rockstar’s acclaimed open-world sandbox arguably continues to be the studio’s biggest and most popular title to date. Though its base game hasn’t been improved upon or overhauled since its latest rerelease in 2014, the title’s online multiplayer mode has received major expansions since 2015 that add new content and features and continue to expand the title way beyond its longevity. Most recently, GTA Online released its newest major expansion titled “The Contract,” allowing players to witness the return of GTA 5‘s Franklin Clinton, Chop the Dog, and Lamar. The Contract came with the addition of new exclusive music from Dr. Dre, a new radio station, weapons, and new ways of acquiring cash to take advantage of the updates new additions.

Shared on Reddit, user Got-a-PhD-in-THC posted a meme calling out and making fun of GTA Online‘s worst-known helicopter, the Sparrow. Made in the “Slaps Roof of Car” salesman meme format, the meme makes fun of the Sparrow’s durability and how it can quickly explode even with the slightest damage. Comically, players in the comments have pitched their own stories and are calling it one of the worst helicopters the online sandbox mode has received, meanwhile, some are backing it up and stating that the vehicle has been their main source of transport despite being flimsy and not being fixed by Rockstar Games.

The Sparrow was originally introduced in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as one of the first drivable helicopters in the series. While it shares the same handling in each title, the GTA Online version is much lighter and very nimble when it comes to handling and maneuvers. Despite being modifiable, the vehicles durability is left unchanged, frustrating many who are looking for easy transportation across Los Santos.

Despite being made fun of by players for its terrible durability, the Sparrow is one of the lightest and fastest helicopters that can be purchased in GTA Online. It’s unknown if the helicopter will ever be updated to perfectly meet demands, but players can look forward to more updates for the online sandbox in the future.
