All Month 
March 1 – 28, “Displaced” art exhibit curated by Laura Youngbird  
This March, view a group art exhibit exploring indigenous culture and history at the West Fargo Library. The exhibit, curated by Laura Youngbird, features artists from around the nation. Each artist featured was assigned a piece from Joy Harjo’s “An American Sunrise” to bring to life through their artistry. “An American Sunrise” is a National Endowment for the Arts Big Read that discusses the Trail of Tears, Harjo’s personal and ancestral history, and other topics through poems, prose, lyrics and quotes from outside sources.

Wednesday, March 16 
10:30 – 11:30 a.m. , Ready to Read story time at West Fargo Public Library  
Pre-K kids are invited to join us for Ready to Read Story time on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Early Literacy Story times at the West Fargo Public Library are open, interactive story time sessions focused on engaging children in early literacy activities through reading, writing, songs, play, and art activities before they head to Kindergarten. Our Early Literacy Story times are intended for children ages 3 – 5, but kids of other ages will not be turned away. Each story time is a little different, but we will always read, play and create together.

1 – 2 p.m., Novel Afternoons Book Club at West Fargo Library

Helpful and knowledgeable volunteers are standing by to help you with your technology questions! You can sign up for free one-on-one technology coaching by appointment at westfargolibrary.org. Appointment slots are 30-minutes. Appointments are available:
· 10 a.m. to Noon, Tuesdays
· 6 – 8 p.m., Thursdays
· 10 a.m. – Noon, Saturdays
Volunteer technology tutors are available to assist with topics like: basic computer, tablet, eReader or smartphone skills; basic internet and browser skills; setting up email or social media accounts; learning how to use apps and websites; and streaming and downloading digital media.

6:30 – 7:30 p.m.,Third Thursday Book Club at West Fargo Public Library

Friday, March 18 
10:30 – 11:30 a.m.,Baby Boost Storytime at West Fargo Public Library  
Baby Boost Storytime encourages connections through language and social interaction. This storytime provides a safe and encouraging space for children ages 2 and under and their caregivers to interact and grow language and social skills through introduction to books, rhymes, signs, and play. Activities from this storytime also help foster an emotional connection between the child and their caregiver which helps to create a positive association with learning and reading.

1:30 – 3:30 p.m., Storytelling with Ojibwe and Lakota Elders at West Fargo Library  
Storytelling with Ojibwe and Lakota Elders is a wonderful opportunity to hear stories/songs told and recounted with Mr. Emery St John who is an enrolled member of the Crow Creek Lakota Tribe, Fort Thompson, S.D. His personal endeavors as a Lakota and helper to a well-respected medicine man, Mr. Clifford Young Bear will captivate and inspire any participants to appreciate the Lakota culture! Christy Goulet, an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, will also share her experience, strength and hope of personal experiences as an Indigenous woman.
