There’s nothing like watching a movie under the stars—and it’s much easier to pull off than you think. All you need is a big white bed sheet, a movie and a stellar digital projector.
Right now, this Kodak Luma 150 Digital Projector is on sale for $190, or $30 off at QVC. This is the cheapest price on the internet right now—even Amazon doesn’t have it this low.
Pocketable and powerful
Usually going for $220, this digital pocket projector is sleek and compact (it’s a little bigger than an Apple MacBook charger), yet powerful with 60 ANSI lumens of brightness and a native Full HD resolution at 1080p. It supports 4K and can project movies up to 12 and a half feet high on a flat surface, like a projection screen, a wall or a ceiling. With Wi-Fi built-in, you can instantly stream and cast, and screen mirror your Android smartphone or Apple iPhone.
“I never thought that a pocket-sized projector would pack a big wallop. The image quality is superb for such a small gadget. Also, the image is crisp and very viewable though it is best used in a dark room. Battery life is enough for one movie,” writes a delighted five-star Kodak reviewer. “Everything is extremely good. I love this tiny projector. It’s like having a portable theatre in your pocket.”
As far as audio, this little guy features a single speaker that outputs rich sound—though we recommend connecting portable speakers for a little more oomph. Luckily, the Kodak Luma 150 comes with a 3.5mm audio jack for that.
Media friendly
The Kodak Luma 150 Digital Projector has a few apps for video streaming built-in. All the usual suspects are here, including Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Twitch, Amazon Prime Video and more. You can also bring your own media, thanks to its microSD memory card slot and USB and HDMI ports. And you can connect a Fire TV Stick or Chromecast to it via HDMI.
“Connecting this device to my laptop was a breeze. I can easily bring this anywhere and start watching videos in no time,” shares a satisfied shopper.
Bottom line
At just $190 (was $220), this Kodak Luma 150 Digital Projector offers up outstanding picture quality with impressive audio. It’s ideal for movie nights outside or a TV alternative inside, and since it’s so small and lightweight, it’ll go wherever you go.
In true QVC fashion, it comes with a few added goodies, including a handy EVA case, a charging cable and HDMI cable to get you started and FlexPay installments. If you don’t want to plunk down $190 all at once, you can pick up this pocket projector for just $63 for three months (with zero interest).
“This projector is one of a kind,” adds another five-star reviewer. “It’s flexible enough to handle different kinds of video files and portable enough to be handy almost everywhere.”
