Coffee with a Cop

CANTON – As vaccination rates continue to rise and more people become protected from serious COVID-19 infection, Stark County Sheriff George T. Maier has announced the return of the Coffee with a Cop program. The Coffee with a Cop program was put on hold when the pandemic began.

The program will be 8:30 a.m. March 17 at the McDonald’s at 112 Dueber Ave. SW. The Coffee with a Cop program is designed to provide an opportunity for community members to ask questions and to learn more about how the Stark County Sheriff’s Office serves the community.

“Coffee with a Cop fosters meaningful conversations in mutual, informal environments where residents can learn more about what we do and how we do it,” Maier said. “We are eager to again pull up a seat at the table with Stark County residents for a face-to-face conversation over a cup of coffee.”

For more information, call the Stark County Sheriff’s Office community engagement director at 330-430-3889. Citizens can also communicate with the Stark County Sheriff’s Office using the mobile app, which can be downloaded free via the app store on any smartphone by searching Stark Sheriff Ohio.
