Northwell Health has signed a deal with Playback Health, a tech firm that aims to help patients better understand the information they receive at their medical visits, fostering the connection between them and their healthcare provider.
It’s a multiyear agreement through which Playback’s software provides Northwell patients with a platform through which they can access medical information in a format that they can revisit, replay and share “to better understand their condition or treatment and more fully engage with their care,” according to a news release about the deal.
Terns of the deal were not disclosed, but the agreement was signed after a pilot program at Northwell’s Glen Cove Hospital.
