Ubisoft has announced a free day of play for Riders Republic. The build will be available for PC gamers through Ubisoft Connect, starting October 12.
Fans will be able to try out Ubisoft’s upcoming Riders Republic ahead of launch thanks to a free day of play for PC gamers. Riders Republic is set to be one of most exciting competitive multiplayer games of the year, providing the ultimate test of skill across a series of sports activities.
Riders Republic will challenge players with high-octane competitive sports activities including mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, and even wingsuit flying, and rocket wingsuiting. Up to 50 players can take part in matches on new-gen systems, with a cap of around 20 players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The open-world game will include a variety of different game modes for people to take part in and put their skills to the test, including a Riders Republic Tricks Battle mode.
Ubisoft has now announced a free day of play for Riders Republic ahead of its launch later this month. The PC Play Day will be available starting October 12 at 9 am CEST and ending at the same time on October 13, available only through Ubisoft Connect PC. Players will be able to prepare for the event with preload available on October 11 at 9am CEST. All five career progressions will be available during the Play Day, with solo play and PvP available. All the game’s multiplayer modes, Mass Race, Versus Mode, Tricks Battle, and Free For All, will also be available. Unfortunately, progress made during the event won’t carry over to the main game.
See the announcement on Twitter here.
Those unfamiliar with the different game modes of Riders Republic will be able to sample what the game has to offer without committing to a purchase. Mass Race consists of multisport races with new offerings appearing randomly on the map every 30 minutes. Versus Mode will see players join up with five friends to compete across career events to test their skills. In Tricks Battle, users will partake in 6v6 matchups to perform as many tricks as possible to earn points for team wins. Finally, in Free for All players can challenge up to 11 others and work through an event playlist.
Riders Republic’s free day of play doesn’t seem to be coming to consoles, though it’s possible Ubisoft will announce a console play day in the coming weeks. With the launch of Riders Republic right around the corner, excitement for the game has reached a new high, and it’s hoped more players will be able to test out the latest Ubisoft release ahead of launch.
Riders Republic will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia on October 28.
