A PC modder recently uploaded an FNAF: Security Breach mod to Nexus Mods that severely and hilariously shrinks the head of Glamrock Freddy.
A PC modder recently created Smol Heady Freddy, a Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach mod that significantly shrinks the head of Glamrock Freddy. Another version of FNAF’s Freddy Fazbear, Glamrock Freddy debuted in Security Breach upon the game’s release late last year on PC and PlayStation platforms.
This Freddy Fazbear counterpart, as the name suggests, constitutes a stylized version of the character based on 1980s Glam Rock. As such, he dons bright-colored face print, spiked bracelets, shoulder pauldrons, and a single red earring. Needless to say, he would have no problem fitting right in with the likes of Alice Cooper. Glamrock Freddy’s part in FNAF: Security Breach is also interesting in that he counts among the few animatronics that means to help the protagonist, Gregory. With all of the above in mind, it’s no wonder players have taken such a liking to the 1980s-inspired Freddy animatronic.
Over on Nexus Mods, Bubble Vee created Smol Heady Freddy, an Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach mod wherein Freddy’s head appears .03x its normal size. The mod works as its title indicates by significantly reducing the size of Glamrock Freddy’s head. Suffice it to say, the results are quite hilarious, too, especially in cutscenes featuring jump scares. YouTuber Rubhen925 showcases as much in a gameplay video that went live earlier in the month. Check it out in the link below:
A note in the Nexus Mods description explains that all should work as intended, though the mod hasn’t fully been tested. PC players interested in downloading the Smol Heady Freddy mod should also be aware that Glamrock Freddy’s head will likely regain its normal size whenever players enter the Parts and Services area.
Developed by Steel Wool Studios and published by ScottGames, FNAF: Security Breach launched late last year on PC and PlayStation. It’s not faring too well in terms of user reception either, due in large part to a host of bugs and performance issues plaguing the experience. Fortunately, Steel Wool Studios has publicly addressed the glitches and promises to tackle as many as possible in future updates. The production crew also teased post-release DLC plans as well, which could position the fan-favorite Dreadbare in a pivotal role. Details on this front presently remain scant, however.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is available to play across on the PC, PS4, and PS5 platforms.
