Vivo Y76s launched with MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor

Vivo recently announced two mid-range devices in two different countries, the Vivo Y15s in Singapore and Vivo V23e in Vietnam. and today the company added a new member to the Y series, called the Vivo Y76s 5G in China. The device is a mid-range smartphone, featuring some attractive specifications.

The Vivo Y76s comes in two variants including 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage priced at 1,799 Yuan (approx Rs 21,000) and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage for 1,999 Yuan (approx Rs 23,000). It is currently listed on the Vivo China website in Galaxy Blue, Star Diamond White, and Starry Night Black colours.

The Vivo Y76s 5G is powered by the Dimensity 810 SoC, runs Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0. The Y76s 5G packs a 6.58 inch 60Hz Full HD+ LCD with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. It has a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz and a notch for the 8 megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens. The smartphone’s rear panel features a rectangular camera island housing a dual camera system consisting of a 50 megapixel primary and 2 megapixel macro camera.

The Vivo Y76s 5G is equipped with the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 810. The device also supports 4GB of virtual RAM, which is yet another plus point. Similarly, users may expand the device’s storage with the help of a microSD card.

Other connectivity options on the Vivo Y76s include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a large 4100 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The Vivo Y76s 5G is 7.79mm thick, weighs 175 grams.

In other news, Vivo has launched the successor of Vivo V21. The Chinese company has listed the Vivo V23e on its official website in Vietnam. The upcoming Vivo V23e smartphone sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The handset runs on FunTouch 12 based on Android 11 and carries a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset.
